Challenge for the SECOND round is to write a story using this line as the first line of the story:

"Spock's fingers dug into the sensitive flesh of Jim's shoulder, and his world went instantly black."

Whether the word 'his' refers to Jim or Spock is up to you!

FIRST ROUND IS CONCLUDED!

Note - these scenarios are 'left-overs' from the last KSOF. New ones are welcomed with open arms, and a brainstorm will probably be the first order of business :-) Scenarios marked with * are new to this year's fest.

There are two versions of challenges this time around. Either you get an assigned scenario - as in, I pull one out of a hat - or you get to choose THREE different scenarios and make it into a comination. In your story, you have to incorporate all the three chosen scenarios!

Kirk is injured so badly that he has to leave Starfleet. Spock and he are not lovers, but Spock's loyalty lies with Kirk and not the fleet. In order to stay with his captain, he has to tell Kirk of his devotion. - - -
Think King Arthur, Robin Hood times on Earth. Kirk is a hunter of a tribe. He is bewitched by a seductive Elf King... - - -
McCoy from the AU is fleeing from the Kirk and Spock of our Universe, fearing for his life. He shows up on 'our' Enterprise and from there, he travels to Stonehenge and goes back in time witht he help of a stolen device. Kirk and Spock are forced to go after him to send McCoy back. McCoy gets help from a person from his timeline. This man is the owner of a gay bar on 20'th century Earth. To find McCoy, Spock and Kirk has to pose as a gay couple. - - -
After a long bonding of friendship, Spock decides he no longer wants to share Kirk. - - -

An alien being inhabits Spock (unknown to anyone else) and breaks down his internal resistance to desire.' Menolly Done:

A being with *almost* godlike powers (think Q or Trelane) pops up without warning on the Enterprise. The alien's historical studies have led him/her to conclude that the best lovers in the galaxy are the pre-reform Vulcans. But his powers can't bring him back that far in time, and the Enterprise is the nearest ship around that has the only Vulcan in it. The alien kidnaps the dismayed Spock for his experiments, with a "promise" that he will set the Vulcan free from his inhibitions in no time at all. Kirk sets off in hot pursuit. - - -

During a diplomatic mission Kirk eats something which has the effect of a strong aphrodisiac on him. He has to share a room with Spock  and Jim can't keep his hands to himself. <g> - - -
After the Fal-Tor-Pan Spock thinks Jim was his lover/bondmate, but in reality Jim never was. What will Kirk do if Spock propose him now? What would happen if Spock thinks the dreams and wishes of his

Jim and Spock (or at least one of them) have to live celibate for a while, because of  some medical reason. No impotence. They can have sex but it's not allowed and it's difficult for both. Liz - First Wave
Jim challenges T'Pring (Or another Vulcan mate for Spock) to fight over Spock. Spock doesn't know this and is surprised to find Jim in his bed later. What will happen? k1of7 Done:

Kirk is depressed, the five-year mission is nearly over. Spock is always acting as the best of friends of course. Physical challenges always cheers Kirk up so Spock offers to teach Kirk a Vulcan martial art, which demands a lot of close proximity, bodily contact etc. One thing leads to another.. Acidqueen Done:

In the episode What are Little Girls Made Of? there is a Kirk android which Kirk sends to the Enterprise and makes it say something derogatory to Spock in order to make him realize the android isn't really him. Spock, having been in love with Kirk for a long, long time, takes the opportunity to have sex with 'Kirk'. Jim finds out about this. What happens? J.S. Cavalcante - Second wave
Instead of their usual chess-game, Kirk suggests strip-poker, mostly as a joke. To his surprise, Spock accepts. First time K/S. Lady Charena Done:

Vulcans are bonded early in their lives because they have the tendency to get easily attached to compatible minds. Spock is bonded to T'Pring at age seven but she is so disinterested in the bond and she does nothing to keep it alive as most Vulcans have to do for it to grow, strengthen and develop. Thus, when Spock first meets Kirk, he senses that this human's mind is perfectly matched to his, long before they even become friends. "Vulcan love at first sight" if you will. However, Spock is very young, very uncertain of himself and sees the way Kirk is drawn to women and does not tell. He is quite pained by this very strong attraction and need to meld with this perfect match to his mind and soul. What happens? - - -
Spock is agonizing over going to Gol - purging all emotions - or telling Kirk the truth. But this time, instead of going off to go through the Kolinahr, he stays with Kirk and tells him that he loves him. What happens next? Ketsu Rei Done
Moonlight and Roses		 First Wave
Is Spock a virgin or not? (Obviously, Kirk isn't!)  What would sex with the Fleet's only Vulcan be like? These questions come up in one informal get-together of the starship captains (Kirk included). Soon, everyone is mentioning the fact that, from Pike to other women, nobody has succeeded in thawing Spock's ice. So the captains make a bet as to who can do it. How does Kirk handle this? Does he join in, if only to protect Spock? And does anybody finally find out if Spock is a virgin or not? - - -
Kirk is caught in Spock's quarters and becomes witness to Spock masturbating. - - -
Spock is accidentally caught inside Kirk's quarters/hotel-room or something and becomes witness to Kirk making love to himself. - - -
What if Kirk's bravado of a womanizer is only a facade,which covers his personal trauma, that in all those situations nothing happened. And therefore he feels good in the company of a Vulcan, who doesn't think it necessary to marvel in sexual adventures. And one day he tells his friend this whole secret. And to his astonishment it comes out that Spock is far far more experienced, than Kirk ever thought possible...<eg>   -  
Kirk and Spock from the Mirror Universe crash on a planet with a shuttlecraft. They're on a clandestine mission for the Resistance and nobody knows where they are except a few select people. Unfortunately that means that nobody is looking for them. They're stuck. Spock and Kirk are hardly on very friendly terms. Kirk's suspicious and Spock's hard and unfeeling. But they have to stay on this planet where there is nothing but animals and enough greenery to keep them alive. They have a few items to help them stay alive, perhaps a tricorder, medikit and some emergency rations, blankets and stuff like that. This means that for the first time they truly have to depend upon and trust each other. Slowly their friendship for each other builds. Kirk finds himself attracted to Spock and chalks it up as a reason for the distinct lack of female companionship. No Pon Farr on Spock's part in order to get them together. - - -
Spock crashlands on a planet---turns out, unknown to him, this planet is sentient. Maybe a consciousness, once human or humanoid with sexual desires, merged with this world called Gaea. Naturally <grin> Gaea gets infatuated with the Vulcan---and uses wind, storms, jungle vines, etc. to strip him of his clothes, piece by piece. Just when Spock is stripped down to his boxers and shorts, a shuttlecraft lands, and it turns out to be Kirk who's looking for his First Officer.
At first, Gaea is furious that something has interrupted her experiments. But she figures out that she really can't have what she wants with Spock---and the new arrival, Kirk, is handsome, too. So she allows Jim to land safely. And when night arrives, she ushers in this very romantic
ambience, a breeze, moonlight, starry sky...whatever... Naturally, Jim, who's already fighting his own desires especially after seeing Spock in his near-naked state, has an even harder time...		 - - -

During some kind of ship maintenance, Spock and Kirk are trapped in a Jeffrey's tube (or the equivalent on the original Enterprise) Spock gets... ah... friendly in the closed quarters. - - -
AU - Kirk and Spock have never met. A marriage between them is arranged. It is up to the author to explain why a same-sex marriage is done. - - -
Mirror, Mirror: Kirk is the only one who has not returned. Spock has the option to hand the MU-Kirk over to Starfleet, which would mean that he has no chance of ever getting his Kirk back. Or he can teach MU Kirk how to behave more civilized. So that he can take over "his" Kirks place for a while and nobody will see it. Of course it would also be interesting how "our" Kirk fits in the MU.
